CRT'S ERGONOMICS CONSULTING SERVICES
CRT's Ergonomic Consulting Services are an integral part of the company's employment screening practice. Establishing the minimum essential physical demands of the job is underlying to identifying the physical abilities of applicants for work in any industrial sector.
CRT's ergonomic consultants are absolutely experts in conducting job task analyses and have done so in nearly every public and private sector organization from airlines to firefighters, and distribution and fulfillment centers to healthcare organizations. This is our core ergonomics consulting business.
We have developed proven techniques, collection forms, and analysis methodology that quickly and succinctly identifies any organization's physical job demands. Our experts can complete JTA's anywhere in North America with minimal expense.
Ergonomics & Employment Screening
If you need us for more advanced ergonomics consulting, we have the skill and resources.
Ergonomics and physical ability job testing are not mutually exclusive. As the graph below developed by Dr. Richard Wyatt reflects, eliminating musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) from the workplace is most effective through the combination of aggressive ergonomics interventions
and physically matching the abilities of employees to the physical demands of their jobs (individual coping skills).
As more effective ergonomics interventions are employed, risk factors are reduced, and a larger labor pool can be matched to physical job demands. These risk factors include exposures to repetitive motion, high force, contact stress and overexertion demands. As applicants for physically demanding jobs are properly matched to the work demands, their ability to meet or exceed these demands is equalized.
Although both ergonomic interventions and physical abilities matching do have individual benefits, the most effective method of reducing risk is a combination of the two.
CRT's ergonomic consulting services are practically unlimited. Our ergonomic consulting network of experts includes nearly every professional certification and credential relevant to ergonomics to include: Ph.D., M.D., M.S., P.T., O.T. , CSP and P.E.
CRT' s consulting fees are very competitive with hourly rates beginning under $100/hour. The level of expertise, number of consultants, project scope, and priority determine individual project rates.
